Based in Christchurch in the stunning South Island of New Zealand, this family owned and run business specialises in providing beautifully designed clothing to women both here and overseas, regardless of their size or budget.

At Long Island we're committed to taking the hassle out of shopping for busy women and that means a new wardrobe of stunning garments is now just a click of the mouse or a phone call away.

We specifically design our clothing to fit and flatter all figure types, not just catering for smaller sizes like many retail stores do. That means making clothes sized from 10-30 across all of our range, but more importantly that fit properly in all sizes too!

Another of Long Island's strengths is our personal service. We have a dedicated team of friendly and attentive staff that will help customers to select the right items in the right sizes.

We proudly guarantee our products and offer a 14 day returns service. If during this period you decide to return an item to us we will happily exchange it for another size, colour, or style (unworn and in perfect condition with the original swing tags still attached) or simply refund your money if you prefer. We are told that our service is great, with helpful and informed operators and fast delivery times - why not try us out and see for yourself!.

The models you see featured on our website are all ‘real people of varying sizes and body shapes. Some are loyal customers, while others are our hard-working staff members. Phillippa Wilberforce, the Founding Director of Long Island, has even modelled some of the clothes herself.

"We don't rely on using size 10 women to model our clothes because that can give an unrealistic impression. Looking and feeling great is not about body shape, it's about wearing a garment with confidence, because you know it looks fabulous"” says Phillippa.
